Stage adaptations of Lightning Rods. Actors will be on hand to perform scenes from the book, and the author will compare them to her own vision. Hilarity assured.

Well, I feel like a total s--- for missing these first few events, given that I live in New York. Funnily enough, my lady friend recommended the lit pub crawl, and I denounced it as a pub crawl in disguise. Obviously not checking in to paperpools enough. I ordered LR for advance amazon delivery (evil?) so hope to have it in time for McNally Jackson. Will have battered copy of TLS in any case for signing if that's going to happen. Anyway, pretty interested to meet you at last. Will you be available for drinking after reading? At least one would be on me...

I expect we will go off and have drinks afterwards, yes (the advantage of the Lit Crawl event, obviously, was that one could have something stronger than coffee during as well as after the actual event). Hope to see you there . . .

Is there a way to reserve tickets? Or is there nothing to be done but show up early and be hopeful?
